01Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and WaitForDate ("WaitForDate," "we," "us" or "our") governing your access to and use of the WaitForDate website, mobile experience and related services (together, the "Service"). By accessing, browsing or using the Service in any way - including completing the onboarding quiz or creating a profile - you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Effective date: September 23, 2026. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 12. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

02Eligibility and Strict 18+ Requirement

WaitForDate is strictly for adults. As one of the verified dating apps that enforces an age gate at signup, we require every person who registers, browses profiles or messages another member to meet each of the following conditions before using the Service:

1. Minimum age of 18. You must be at least 18 years old. WaitForDate does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or access any part of the Service.
2. Legal capacity to contract. You must have the legal capacity, under the law of your jurisdiction, to enter into a binding agreement such as these Terms.
3. Not a registered sex offender. You must not be required to register as a sex offender in any jurisdiction, and you must not have been convicted of, or pled guilty or no contest to, a violent crime or sexual misconduct.
4. No embargoed or restricted location. You must not reside in, or access the Service from, a country subject to a US government embargo, and you must not appear on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties, including the Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals list.
5. Compliance with local law. You must be permitted to use an adult dating service under the laws applicable to you.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone who does not meet these requirements, we will suspend or permanently terminate that account. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle age-related information and other personal data.

03Account Registration and One-Account Rule

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, current and complete information, including your gender, the gender you are seeking, and an age range. You agree to keep this information up to date. You may hold only one personal, non-transferable WaitForDate account; creating multiple accounts, or continuing to use the Service under a new account after a prior account has been suspended or banned, is not permitted without our prior written consent.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the contact address in Section 12 if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are duplicate, shared, automated or otherwise inconsistent with this one-account rule.

04Prohibited Conduct

To keep WaitForDate usable and safe, you agree that you will not, while using the Service:

• Misrepresent your identity, age, marital status or employment, or otherwise impersonate any person or create a fake identity.
• Harass, stalk, threaten, bully or defame another member, or send unwanted repeated contact after being asked to stop.
• Solicit money, gifts, cryptocurrency, financial account details or other things of value from another member, or promote a financial scheme of any kind.
• Send commercial solicitations, spam, chain messages, or advertise a third-party product or service to other members.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise collect member data or profile content using bots, scripts or other automated means.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, or build a third-party application that interacts with it without our written consent.
• Engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent or that violates the rights of another person.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without limiting any other remedy available to us.

05Content Standards and Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post or send through the Service any content that: is illegal, exploitative of a minor, or depicts sexually explicit imagery; is hateful, discriminatory or intended to degrade a person or group; discloses another person's private information without consent; contains malware, viruses or code designed to disrupt the Service; or infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.

We reserve the right, but do not assume an obligation, to review, moderate or remove any content that violates these standards, and to suspend or terminate the account of any member who posts it. Reported content and accounts may be reviewed manually or through automated tools.

06Licence to Content You Submit

You retain ownership of the photos, profile text, messages and other content you submit to WaitForDate ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant WaitForDate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, display and distribute Your Content solely for the purposes of operating, providing, promoting and improving the Service - for example, displaying your profile card to prospective matches or featuring anonymized layout examples in our marketing.

This licence continues for as long as Your Content remains on the Service and ends when you delete the content or your account, except to the extent copies persist in routine backups for a limited period or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit Your Content and to grant this licence.

07Subscriptions, Virtual Items and Refunds

WaitForDate may offer optional paid features, subscriptions or virtual items that enhance your experience. Any such feature or item is a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use that feature within the Service - it is not property and does not confer ownership or any right outside the Service.

Purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by applicable law. If you purchase a feature through a third-party app store, that purchase is also subject to the app store's own payment, subscription and refund terms, and requests to cancel or refund a store-billed purchase should be directed to that app store. We do not publish specific prices in these Terms; current pricing, where applicable, is shown in the Service at the time of purchase.

08No Background Checks and User Safety

WaitForDate does not conduct criminal background checks, sex offender registry searches or identity verification on members beyond the age confirmation collected at signup, and we do not otherwise investigate a member's history. We disclaim responsibility for the conduct of any member, whether on or off the Service, and you are solely responsible for your interactions with other members.

Before meeting anyone in person, we recommend that you:

• Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting.
• Meet in a public place for the first time and arrange your own transportation.
• Avoid sharing your home address, financial details or passwords with a new match.
• Trust your instincts and end an interaction that feels unsafe.

09Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that any profile is accurate, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WaitForDate and its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the smallest amount permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Governing Law

Most concerns can be resolved informally. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at the address in Section 12 and give us 30 days to resolve the issue. If it cannot be resolved informally, you and WaitForDate agree that any dispute will be settled by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court, and claims under the US Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act may be brought in court at the claimant's election.

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable state law where WaitForDate is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where arbitration does not apply, you and WaitForDate agree that any lawsuit will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States.

11Termination and Copyright (DMCA) Notices

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for a violation of these Terms, at our discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including Sections 6, 9 and 10 - will continue to apply after your account is closed.

If you believe content on WaitForDate infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated copyright agent that includes: (1) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. Send DMCA notices to [email protected]. We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of members who are repeat infringers.

12Changes to These Terms and How to Contact Us

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the Service. Your continued use of WaitForDate after a revision takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force, and these Terms together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and WaitForDate regarding the Service.
